Title Tags - Repetition of Keywords

Should there be more than 1 keyword repeated in your title tag? Not the most important thing to think about - but I believe you can get away with 2 - 3 occurances of the same keyword. 3 would be no where near ideal and if you have to use a third make it plural. Some suggest using keywords only once, for example: http://www.whitehatseo.com, the page has been built with strict wc3 guides in mind, as has the title tag “White Hat SEO”, where there is only one occurance of the each seed keywords. Indeed it could even be argued that your title tag should not be limited to manipulation for SEO but what the page is completley and succinctly about. e.g. White Hat SEO.

Concering page titles, there are two schools of thought, one which asserts that each keyword search term or phrase can be specifically repeated in the title, and the other; where there should only be one occurance of each keyword ordered to make the best phrase, with the first word most important and decreasing there after.
