Keyword Phrases Comma Meta-Tags
When writing your meta-tags is it best to use a comma? well there’s alot of huff and puff that goes on about this but no real answer.. my answer is the write your meta tags the same way that people w ould write a search term. I believe that Google views a comma or a pipe inbetween keyword phrases, as a break between that keyword search term. So… what i mean by this is if you write your meta tags as “search optimization brighton, internet marketing sussex, seo sussex” is much better than ”search, optimization, brighton, internet ,marketing, sussex, seo, sussex” or “search optimization brighton internet marketing sussex seo sussex” or “search optimization, brighton internet, marketing sussex seo sussex”. Google is clever enough to work out that a comma or a pipe | delineates a phrase (search term) and gives weight if you do add them.
