well here i am on friday night writing in my seobrighton blog.. pretty sad, yes - but at least I derive some comfort from the fact that there are people far nerdier - than me out there. the guy is actually pretty funny…. although completley mad. How you could have a hobby that just involves “roads” is obviously beyond a mind as feeble as mine…

From a SEO perspective flash is less than ideal due to the difficulty search engine spiders have in seeing flash. Flash is like a gif or a picture; for a spider it appears as a only blank box. Flash is good for viral games and banners and headers. Viral games to generate some publicity about your product, Banners and Headers because they are usually just gifs or jpgs, so it doesn’t make any difference anyway. You can use swfobject if you are concerned about users without flash installed which replaces the flash with an image and or text. Whats the big deal here eh? well for your website the most important thing in it will be the title metatags of your site; especially on the first page of your index page. Ideally its best to have a keyword search string that exists as either 9-12 words. The search string should have none of your specific keywords repeated although it can have your main one repeated once. Ideally its best to have your main one reapeated as a plural, then the character filters which work independently of the word filters will not be able to detect it as a match. Mine Godt! I’m number 6 for ”seo brighton” and I have only just stuck the website up! That url was obviously a killer search term… although there is another seo brighton blog.. which however supprised me, seeing as both seobrighton.com would of been a more natural url and that I am already so close to him in the rank…. hmmm
