Back Link Chasing Brighton
One of the best starting points to chase links, are the backlinks of your competitors. To find out where your compeitiors are getting their links and high positions from, goto yahoo and type in:
Link:http://www.whateveryourcompeititorswebsiteiscalled.com
And here you will find a list of all the backlinks that website has. Now, you can goto these websites and see if you can get a link. This also works for Google and MSN, although the Google one, doesn’t show you exactly how many links there actually are, it will show some which you can chase. The msn one works now and again but they tend to turn it off intermittently, because of spam attacks. Another cool tool is http://www.backlinkwatch.com/ Here you get a list of (only up to 100) backlinks with the anchor text in the link. Pretty handy eh?
